LAX WEST Summer League

Lacrosse West is a competitive summer lacrosse program held in Grand Junction, CO. Each week, our leagues play full and 1/2 field games at Colorado Mesa University’s, Unity Field. This is a great opportunity for players to take the field with friends across the Western Slope they may have otherwise not had an opportunity to play with, or maybe even against! The summer leagues will be open to Men, Women, High School, and Middle School players. No Coaches, no practice, just weekly games to keep up your skills, have fun, and stay in shape over the summer. Just because season stopped, doesn’t mean you have to!

What Equipment is needed?

For all girls and womens leagues - you are required to bring a Stick, goggles, and mouth guard. (Cleats recommended), Pinnies if you have one, or there will be pinnies available for purchase.

For all boys and mens leagues - you are required to bring stick, chest pad, elbow pad, gloves, helmet, and mouth guard. (Cleats recommended), Pinnies if you have one, or there will be pinnies available for purchase.

Goalies - Stick, Chest pad, Helmet, Gloves, and mouth guard.

At what age can players participate?

LAX West Summer league is open to any (incoming) 6th graders up to any aged adult.

What if I can't participate every week?

Easy! We provide a weekly "Drop-In" Option for anyone that can only participate on occasion due to work, vacations, school, etc.

Example - if you can only participate 3 weeks of your busy summer, your total cost would be $75.00 (plus the required US Lacrosse Membership fee which can be obtained at www.usalacrosse.com)

Why is every participant required to obtain an additional US Lacrosse membership?

LAX West/Grand Valley Lacrosse is a Lacrosse Club sanctioned by US Lacrosse (governing body of lacrosse), as such, membership is required for participation.
