K-8th Grade Boys and Girls of ANY/ALL skillsets welcome!!  Join us to experience this fast paced, fast growing sport of Lacrosse! 

Fees:

NTE (K-2nd) - $150 (+$35 Annual USA Lacrosse Membership)

3rd - 8th Grade - $375 (+$35 Annual USA Lacrosse Membership)

Fees include shooter shirts.

Uniforms are required. Club Uniform Jersey and Black shorts. Fees DO NOT include uniforms. Uniforms may be used from the 2025 season or your athlete may trade with other athletes. IF a new player or needing a new size, Jerseys may be purchased for $40.

We will host a sizing/purchase day for uniform needs prior to the first tournament!

USA Lacrosse Membership

All players MUST have a USA Lacrosse Membership to complete registration. Youth Membership is $35 per year (Memberships renewal dates are one calendar year from the date you sign up for the membership). The membership must be active through the end of the program in which you are registering for (i.e. May 25th 2025 for the spring season). Click Here to renew or create a USA Lacrosse Membership or you will be redirected to the site during the registration process.

Grade Level

Please note that all players must register for the grade level in which they are currently enrolled in school. GVLAX will not allow any athletes to play above their grade-based age group unless it is necessary to fill a roster AND if coaches agree that your athlete is prepared and able. IF you have a 2nd grader with experience, and they are moved up to the 3rd grade level, difference in registration fee will need to be provided in order to participate with that team.

Practices:

Most practices will be starting the anywhere from the last week of March - the first week for April (depending on individual coaches and their schedules)

Each team will be notified by their coach as to start dates/times soon.

**Practices for most age groups will likely be 3-4 days/week 5:00 - 6:30 PM (Younger age groups will have shorter sessions and likely 2-3 days a week)**

Required equipment:

Boys: Helmet, Chest Pad, Stick, Mouth Guard, Cleats

Girls: Goggles, Mouth Guard, Stick, Cleats

Goalies: Helmet, Throat Guard, Mouth Guard, Gloves, Chest Pad, Cleats

***The club does have some equipment available for use. If you are unsure of what is needed or unable to supply needed equipment, please reach out and we will be happy to get your athlete set up, and ready to play!***

Projected Tournament Dates are as follows:

Grand Valley Quickstix Tournament (Grand Junction, CO) - April 25th - 26th

Vail LAX JAM - (Avon/Edwards, CO) - May 2nd - 3rd

Aspen Tournament - (El Jebel, CO) - May 9th - 10th

Telluride or Durango - questionable

One Additional PAY-TO-PLAY available for the older teams, but ONLY if we have enough players committed and pre-paid early on - fees will likely run $125 - $175 extra per player - subject to tournament registration fees)

JamTown - Arvada, CO - May 30 - 31st

or

Salt LAX City - Salt Lake City, UT - June 5-6th

***Please note - not all dates have yet been verified by other clubs***

*** It is possible that NTE (K-2nd) will not have games at tournaments as participating clubs don't always travel with their younger teams. NTE Season may be shorter and consist of skills and scrimmages ***

As a club, we will provide Hotel Blocks, information provided soon! Booking through the provided options, benefits Grand Valley Lacrosse; helping raise funds towards scholarships, equipment, and more!
