High School Girls: Spring 2010 The CHSAA (High School) Lacrosse program, grades 9-12 will be run by the school district according to CHSAA rules and regulations.

The plan for the girls is to have one varsity team  at FMHS and one at GJHS 
 All participating athletes will follow the district’s criteria for being a student athlete in District 51. This includes a physical, carrying insurance, maintaining grades etc. the same as other school based sports.

 The teams the girls wiill be playing are Glenwood Springs, Battle Mountain (Vail), Eagle Valley (Gypsum),and  Durango.

The girls varsity team will play approximately 12-14 games for the regular season and then enter the playoffs within our league.


The girl’s league is smaller than  the boys league. There are 7 other teams in the boy's league
 
 The girls's schedule is posted on the High School's website under   Activities/Sports schedule
